INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS
An informational session is one of the most powerful ways to promote your company and recruiting efforts. General informational sessions provide an overview of your company, help your company in establishing a presence on campus, and introduce employment or sales opportunities to potential candidates or customers.
LOCATION
We can help your company reserve a room appropriate for the event. Please inform us how many attendees are expected at the event and whether any additional arrangements such as technological accommodations are necessary. Moreover, please let us know if you would like to target a specific audience or market.
MARKETING
We will publicize your company by distributing promotional literature throughout the campus; promoting your events and advertisements via our online platforms, namely Facebook and Twitter; and in directly contacting relevant student organizations. Alpha Kappa Psi prides itself in maintaining a strong online presence that extends throughout the online campus community, as well as reaching our audiences on foot. BID GIFTS
Bids are invitations into the fraternity and along with those bids; company promotional items, such as pens and pins, can be distributed to further promote your company.
COMPANY LINK AND LOGO
Adding your company’s link and logo to the Alpha Kappa Psi website (http://www.akpsiub.org) is the quickest and easiest way to give your company additional exposure to the students at University at Buffalo. We hold numerous campus-wide events throughout the semester that will provide many opportunities for students to see your company’s logo.
RECRUITMENT WEEK
Rush week, or recruitment week, consists of a series of recruiting events with the purpose of finding qualified students to whom we would like to offer membership into Alpha Kappa Psi. Intensive marketing efforts begin immediately after the semester begins and continue on until the end of Rush.
Your company’s link and logo will be more popular during this time as the Alpha Kappa Psi website generates high levels of traffic from prospective members and affiliated parties. A large quantity of flyers and brochures are handed out to people on campus through our marketing efforts. We also have programs for most of our recruiting events, which are explicitly open to the public.
